Description: The Alfândega da Fé Cherry is the fruit obtained from cherry trees (Prunus avium L), with a caliber equal to or greater than 24 mm.
Description: This type of cherry comes from cultivars resulting from the crossing of the wild cherry tree (Prunus avium L.) with the native varieties of the Portalegre area. It is a black cherry, with marked pigmentation in the pulp, well visible when cutting and chewing, with a very sweet flavor, round shape, long stalk and with an average weight between 5 and 8 grams.
Description: "Cereja do Fundão" means the fruit coming from cherry trees ("Prunus avium L."), whose main characteristics are:
- a size of 24 mm or more;
- Consistency with a Durofel index equal to or greater than 60;
- Coloring between index 2 and 6 of the CTIFL colour chart;
- Soluble solids content equal to or greater than 12º Brix.
Description: The Ameixa d'Elvas PDO is a plum belonging to the Regina Claudia variety of the Prunus domestica species.
