Capão de Freamunde PGI

Description: Capão de Freamunde PGI is the product of all breeds of slow-growth varieties of the Atlantic Gallus domesticus which is castrated before reaching sexual maturity and which is exclusively intended for the production of quality meat, raised from very young in the geographical area delineated. According to the product specification can be used the typically Portuguese breeds, existing in the north of Portugal, in particular the breeds Portuguese Pedrês, Lusitanian Black and Yellow. Capão de Freamunde PGI is put up for sale as follows: live, duly identified, in the form of carcases, properly packaged and labelled, plucked and legs and head off, but packaged with the liver and gizzards and in the form of frozen carcases.

Carnalentejana DOP

Description: The Carnalentejana PDO cheese is made with bovine meet of Alentejana breed. It’s a meat evenly distributed but not excessive fat and pH below 6. The colour varies from a red to dark red.

Carne Arouquesa DOP

Description: Carne Arouquesa PDO, obtained from Arouquesa breed, is a succulent meat, slightly moist, particularly suitable for barbeques. Commercially, it comes in carcasses or in portions packaged in bags or in suitable containers. Four different specifications are accepted: veal, young beef, steer and cow.

Carne Barrosã DOP

Description: The Carne Barrosã PDO cheese is made with bovine meat of Barrosã breed, that although has the name of Barroso Tableland has begun in Minho region. It's a meat with white to dark white fat, depending the animal age. Has a rosy to dark red color.

Carne Cachena da Peneda DOP

Description: Carne Cachena da Peneda PDO, obtained from Cachena breed, is a succulent meat, slightly moist and very tasty. Commercially, it comes in full, half or quarters of carcasses, as well as in portions packaged vacuum or in “cuvettes”. Four different specifications are accepted: veal, young beef, steer and cow.

Carne da Charneca DOP

Description: Carne da Charneca PDO beef is made from  Preta (“Gado da Terra”) breed of cattle. It's a meat with white to yellowish white fat, depending the animal age. Has a dark rose to dark red color.
