Description: Portuguese onion with tender hulls, white color and mild aroma.

Special characteristics: Called sweet onion, because it has a low acidity content.

Additional information on species, varieties, breeds: It is harvested between June and August.

Delimitation of the geographical area of production: Throughout the country, this quality is specific between Tâmega and Douro.
