Definition of the geographical area of production: Santa Maria Island, Azores.
Method of preparation: Shaped by the affectionate hands of the women of Marienses, they owe their name to the shape and cut made at the ends of the triangle. Obtained from a dough made of sugar, wheat flour, eggs, lard and butter, which is baked in a medium oven.
Forms of commercialization: They can be purchased in food stores and local handicraft stores.
